AUGUST 2009 RMAP BLOG – ENTRY 3

August 24, 2009

Today I met with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency buy amoxil online, pediatric amoxicillin dosage chart for 11 year old, amoxicillin 11 year old. (IEPA) and the Rockford Park District top quality medications. prednisone 20 mg street price . instant shipping, buy prednisone online overnight. buy cialis credit card – ed drugs : with no prescription : best prices : bonus pills indications of dapoxetine online rezept online apotheke clomid dapoxetine 60 ohne rezept bestellen dapoxetine mercury drug dapoxetine kopen belgie use  as it concerns the Alpine Road Rail Station. Eckberg Park is located near this rail station, so the Park District is a stakeholder there. In addition, the IEPA is doing some environmental clean up of the property, so they will definitely be a partner and a stakeholder in whatever takes place at this location.

One of the things we have in common is that the IEPA needs to bring in large trucks in the immediate future to build groundwater monitoring wells and a building.   We explored the possibility of partnering to create the entry road that both the IEPA and the Alpine Road Rail Station need to move forward..

How is land cleanup at the Alpine Road rail station coming along?

  2. Anthony, we are looking into the current status of that initiative, and we will respond as soon as we receive word. Thank you for a very good question.

  3. The City of Rockford, as part of the design work for the downtown station, is going to have a work task for the soon-to-be-hired consultant team to look at environmental issues for the East Side Station. That consultant team will later make a recommendation on the location of said station.

Ultimately, the City of Rockford will have to take action, and RMAP’s role in the process will shift to an advisory capacity, with the City of Rockford taking the lead on any future implementation.

    Hopefully that answers your question.

  4. Anthony says:

Hold on. I’ve got a better idea for the east side station. I think it should be built on Mulford Road between the UP and CN tracks, with a platform on each track. This would allow for seamless transfer between Amtrak (on CN track) and the proposed Metra service (on UP track) Just think of it as a miniature Union Station. Please consider this idea. Thank you.
